Conyers, GA – Car Accident on I-20 Near Salem Rd

Conyers, GA (March 7, 2020) – Around 1 p.m. today in Rockdale County, a car accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-20.

Police confirmed that two or more vehicles collided forcefully for reasons that are still under investigation near the Salem Road area.

Police confirmed that all lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time except for the left lane of traffic. This led to massive delays in the area.

Multiple emergency responders, including paramedics, were present at the scene. They assisted those with injuries.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
