Decatur, GA – Car Crash at Church St and Ponce de Leon Ave

Decatur, GA (March 19, 2020) – Around 4 p.m. this afternoon, a serious car crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Decatur.

Police confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Church Street and Ponce de Leon Avenue about 20 minutes away from another crash, which took place at the intersection of Executive Park Drive and Sheridan Drive.

The accident, according to police, caused injuries to one or more people. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.

There were extensive delays at the scene of the accident, as the intersection was blocked for a period of time.

Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
