Douglasville, GA (March 27, 2020) – Around 3 p.m. this afternoon, the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a car accident in Douglasville.
According to authorities, the accident took place when two or more vehicles collided at the intersection of Nebo Road and Sam Alexander Road.
The Georgia State Patrol also responded to the scene where they discovered that one or more victims were in need of medical assistance. It is believed that they were hospitalized as a result.
There were extensive delays at the scene of the accident for a period of time but police worked to clear the intersection.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
