Ellenwood, GA (March 21, 2020) – Clayton County officials responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash around 11:40 p.m. last night, March 20.
Authorities confirmed that the accident took place when multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the highway, causing a police cruiser to roll over.
Paramedics were present at the scene of the accident and numerous injuries were reported. However, the conditions of those involved are not yet known.
There were heavy delays in the area of the accident for a period of time.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision at this time.
