Lawrenceville, GA (March 21, 2020) – Around 10:51 a.m. this morning, Gwinnett County Police responded to a truck accident at a local intersection.
According to police, the collision involved two tractor-trailers and took place at the intersection of SR-316 and Hi Hope Road in Lawrenceville.
Police confirmed that two tractor-trailers collided with one another, though the circumstances of the accident are not yet known. One or more victims were injured and it is believed that they were hospitalized.
The east and westbound lanes of traffic were closed down in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been provided but the investigation is currently ongoing.
