Ellijay, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on Old Hwy 5

Ellijay, GA (March 12, 2020) – Around 10:21 p.m. last night, March 11, a car accident with injuries took place in Ellijay involving one vehicle.

It is believed that the driver of a vehicle lost control on Old Highway 5 in Ellijay. The collision took place in the northbound lanes of the roadway.

Gilmer County authorities, paramedics, and fire crews arrived at the scene of the accident. There, they found multiple parties had injuries due to the collision.

The extent of the injuries is not yet known. Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
