Lithia Springs, GA (March 12, 2020) – Around 4 p.m. this afternoon, Douglas County authorities responded to the scene of a Lithia Springs car accident.
According to authorities, the accident occurred at the intersection of Maxham Road and Thornton Road. The crash blocked southbound lanes of traffic.
The accident caused extensive delays in the area, as numerous emergency responders were present at the scene. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries has not yet been confirmed.
At this time, the investigation into the collision is ongoing.
