Hiram, GA (March 12, 2020) – Around 9 a.m. this morning, Paulding County Sheriff’s authorities assisted at the scene of a car crash at a Hiram intersection.
According to police, the collision took place when two or more vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 278 and Bill Carruth Parkway.
Paramedics and various other responders assisted at the scene of the collision. The extent of the injuries is not known but it is believed that two or more victims were hospitalized.
All lanes of traffic were closed down at the intersection for a period of time but police quickly reopened the road.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
