Emerson, GA (March 15, 2020) – Yesterday, March 14, a fatal pedestrian accident took place on train tracks around the area of Gaston Westbrook Avenue in Emerson.
The Bartow County Coroner and sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene where they discovered that a pedestrian was struck by a train for reasons that are still under investigation.
Police have since said that the victim was a 60-year-old man from the area. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still working on their investigation into the accident.
