Summerville, GA – Fatal Collision at Church on Greeson St

Summerville, GA (March 15, 2020) – This morning, police confirmed that a 22-year-old woman died in a fatal collision on Greeson Street in Summerville.

The accident, according to police, took place in the area of the Pennville Church of Christ. It involved two vehicles, both of which were extensively damaged.

A county coroner was called to the scene of the accident around 9 a.m. where they pronounced the victim deceased.

The driver of the other vehicle was immediately transported to a hospital in Rome with serious injuries. His condition is not yet known.

The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate the collision.
