Flowery Branch, GA (March 21, 2020) – Late yesterday afternoon, March 20, one person was injured in a boating accident that took place on Lake Lanier.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources confirmed that the collision involved a cabin cruiser and a personal watercraft. The PWC struck the side of the other vessel. Police confirmed that the operation of the personal watercraft was the only person who was injured.
The boating collision occurred near the area of Van Pugh Park around 5 p.m.
It is believed that the injured victim was hospitalized due to their injuries.
No further details have been released but the investigation is ongoing.
