Locust Grove, GA (March 21, 2020) – Around 11 a.m. this morning, McDonough authorities responded to the scene of a car accident that blocked several lanes of traffic.
Police received a call that the collision took place in the northbound lanes of GA-401 around the Highway 155 area.
The accident involved numerous vehicles and several fire trucks and paramedics were present at the scene. It was confirmed that injuries were reported. However, it is not known if any victims were hospitalized.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked due to the accident, leading to heavy delays in the area for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
