Griffin, GA – 2 Injured in Car Accident on GA-16

Griffin, GA (March 14, 2020) – The Griffin Police Department responded to the scene of a car accident last night around 8:15 p.m. on GA-16.

The accident allegedly took place in front of the Dairy Queen restaurant on the highway. Multiple emergency responders, including EMS crews, responded to the scene.

Police discovered that two vehicles collided with one another on the highway. Two people had injuries and were taken to Spalding Regional. The injuries were minor and to the legs and knees.

The accident closed down a portion of the roadway into the night.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
