Hephzibah, GA – Deputy Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Dean’s Bridge Rd

Hephzibah, GA (March 30, 2020) – Around 8:16 a.m. this morning, a deputy was injured in a motorcycle crash on Dean’s Bridge Road in Hephzibah.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the collision took place when the deputy was traveling north on Dean’s Bridge when another vehicle towing a trailer pulled out in front of the deputy.

The two collided, leading to serious damages. The deputy was immediately rushed to AU Medical Center with injuries but is expected to make a recovery.

The accident investigation remains ongoing at this time.
