Kennesaw, GA (March 17, 2020) – Around 10:41 a.m. this morning, authorities responded to the scene of a serious car accident with injuries at a Kennesaw intersection.
Though few details have been released regarding the accident, the accident closed down the westbound lanes of the Barrett Parkway in the area of Cobb Place Boulevard.
Police confirmed that numerous fire crews and multiple EMS vehicles were present at the scene of the accident. Paramedics assisted those in need, though the extent of their injuries are not yet known.
It was confirmed that there were extensive delays in the area for a period of time and those in the area were urged to use Chastain Road as an alternate route.
No further details have been released but the investigation is ongoing.
