Locust Grove, GA (March 4, 2020) – On Monday, March 2 around 11:31 p.m., police responded to the scene of a car crash that led to serious injuries in Cobb County.
The Cobb County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene of the collision, which happened on GA-401 just south of I-285.
Police confirmed that a 20-year-old woman was driving her silver Nissan Sentra northbound when she suddenly crashed into the rear of the Jeep. The crash was so forceful that the Nissan went to the right where it struck a retaining wall. The Jeep was pushed forward into another lane when a Ford ran into its rear.
Police claim that the Ford was being driven by a 25-year-old man from Kennesaw.
The 20-year-old woman was not injured but the driver of the Ford was immediately taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The 30-year-old driver of the Jeep was transported to the hospital with an array of serious injuries.
The investigation into the collision remains ongoing by police.
