Marietta, GA (March 14, 2020) – Around 5:13 p.m. yesterday afternoon, March 13, a school bus accident took place in Marietta that led to injuries.
Police confirmed that the accident occurred when an SUV and a school bus collided at the intersection of Roswell Road and Providence Road in Marietta, Cobb County.
Authorities responded to the scene, where they discovered that one or more parties had injuries due to the accident. Paramedics assisted those in need, though it is not known how many were hospitalized.
The left lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
