Perry, GA (March 9, 2020) – Houston County officials responded to a fatal collision around 3:30 a.m. yesterday morning, March 8 that led to the death of two victims.
A mother and her son were killed in the collision when a semi-truck and passenger vehicle collided with one another.
The mother in the passenger vehicle was identified as a 29-year-old woman with a 4-year-old son. They both passed away at the scene. Another boy in her vehicle was taken to the hospital but his condition is not yet known.
The family was from Snellville and they were on their way to Orlando, Florida due to a move.
The Georgia State Patrol continues its investigation.
