Powder Springs, GA (March 2, 2020) – On February 27 around 5:38 p.m., a fatal pedestrian accident took place at a Powder Springs intersection that led to injuries.
The Cobb County Police Department confirmed that the collision took place at the intersection of Powder Springs Road and Flint Hill Road and led to a fatality.
A 54-year-old woman was driving her Chevrolet Traverse headed west on Powder Springs. At that time, a 19-year-old man was walking across the road at the intersection with his bicycle.
The Traverse struck him forcefully. He was transported to Kennestone Hospital but pronounced deceased while there.
The investigation into the accident continues.
