Rome, GA – Motorcycle Accident at Alabama Hwy and Avery Rd

Rome, GA (March 20, 2020) – Around noon today, Floyd County authorities responded to the scene of a car accident at an intersection in Rome.

According to police, the collision took place at the intersection of Alabama Highway and Avery Road when a motorcycle and at least one passenger vehicle collided.

Police confirmed that the motorcyclist received serious injuries as a result of the accident and the intersection was blocked by ambulances.

No further details are known but police continue their investigation.
