Rutledge, GA – Car Accident on I-20 Near Newborn Rd

Rutledge, GA (March 30, 2020) – Around 8 a.m. this morning, authorities responded to the scene of a car accident in Rutledge that led to injuries.

According to police, the accident took place in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Newborn Road.

Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time, with police urging those in the area to find alternate routes.

Paramedics assisted those with injuries. However, their current conditions are not yet known.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
