Woodstock, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision in NB Lanes of I-575

Woodstock, GA (March 28, 2020) – Around 6 p.m. this evening, injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision on I-575 in Woodstock.

Cherokee County law enforcement officials, fire crews, and paramedics were immediately called to the scene of the accident. There, they found that three or more vehicles collided with one another for reasons that are still under investigation.

The accident took place around the area of Ridgewalk Parkway and blocked two lanes of traffic for a period of time.

One of the vehicles involved was so badly damaged that it was loaded onto the back of a wrecker. Paramedics were seen assisting two or more victims with their injuries. However, it is not yet known if they were hospitalized.

No further details were provided but police continue to investigate.
