Young Harris, GA (March 10, 2020) – Around 1 p.m. yesterday, March 9, a two-vehicle accident with serious injuries took place on GA-515 in Young Harris.
The accident, according to police, took place when two vehicles collided head-on in front of the Brasstown Valley Resort.
Police confirmed that both drivers involved in the collision were injured. They received serious injuries and were airlifted to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
The accident closed down that stretch of the roadway until 4 p.m.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
