Austell, GA (July 16, 2019) – A 23-year-old woman has just passed away from injuries that took place after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hicks Road and Hurt Road.
The woman, according to police, was turning her 2019 Chevrolet van from Hicks onto Hurt around 9 p.m. She allegedly turned right in front of a 2013 Ford F-150, which caused the two vehicles to collide in the intersection.
The woman and the other driver did not report injuries at the time of the crash. Neither went to the hospital. However, on Friday, the woman started to experience signs of severe medical distress due to the accident and was taken to the Atlanta Medical Center. She passed away while there due to internal injuries that she might not have known about at the time.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
