Brunswick, GA (July 13, 2019) – Glynn County Police arrived at the scene of a bicycle accident that took place on Habersham Street that has since been deemed a hit-and-run.
The accident took place around noon. The bicyclist, identified as a 33-year-old man, was struck by a vehicle that had been traveling north at the time. The driver then fled the scene immediately following the accident.
The bicyclist was quickly transported to the hospital and has been listed in stable condition at this time. Police are now on the lookout for a small GMC or Chevy truck missing its passenger side mirror.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
