Chattanooga Valley, GA (July 13, 2019) – In Walker County, police say that a suspected DUI crash led to injuries in two women when two vehicles collided at GA-341 and GA-193.
At the time, a 48-year-old woman was stopped in her Honda Accord waiting to travel onto GA-341. A 54-year-old woman was driving her Nissan Altima headed southbound.
The Accord did not yield when coming through the intersection when it was suddenly struck by the Altima. It spun and struck another vehicle.
Two women were taken to the Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton for treatment of their injuries.
The 48-year-old woman was booked after being suspected of driving under the influence.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
