Edison, GA (July 6, 2019) – Around 10 p.m. last Saturday, an 8-year-old child was killed in a scooter accident that took place on Highway 27 in Edison.
The child was struck by a vehicle and was killed after he was traveling on his scooter. The Georgia State Patrol found that the vehicle that struck the child was traveling southbound on the roadway.
The driver claimed that they were unable to stop and hit the child, according to reports. The child was later found by police injured and unresponsive.
The Georgia State Patrol continues their investigation into the accident at this time.
