Pooler, GA (July 14, 2019) – On Saturday morning, July 13 around 4 a.m., a fiery accident took place that led to the loss of life in one person in Pooler.
Police responded to the accident immediately after calls came in on the eastbound lanes of I-16. They found that three vehicles had collided with one another and were on fire.
Police confirmed that six people were injured and one person lost their life at the scene of the accident. Pooler Police closed the lanes for several hours while they took a closer look at the circumstances of the accident immediately after it happened.
The identity of the person whose life was lost has not yet been released due to the fact that the family has not yet confirmed the fatality. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
