Savannah, GA (July 10, 2019) – A pedestrian is believed to have suffered serious injuries after being involved in an accident with a motor vehicle on Wednesday morning, July 10. The accident was reported to have happened at around 6:20 a.m. at the intersection of 37th Street and Montgomery Street in Savannah.
According to police, the accident occurred in the aforementioned location, resulting in the closure of the southbound lanes of Montgomery Street, as well as one eastbound lane of 37th Street. The details surrounding the cause of the collision are unclear at this time but police and medical technicians were promptly sent to the scene.
At this time, the condition of the victim has not been reported and all lanes have since been reopened. Authorities are actively conducting a thorough investigation into the events that led to this incident.
