Decatur, GA (March 20, 2020) – Around midnight this morning, one person was killed in a fatal truck accident on I-285 in Decatur.
Police confirmed that a truck was in the gore area of the ramp onto the highway waiting for a fuel delivery. A Lincoln Town Car struck it from behind.
The driver of the Lincoln died at the scene. Police have since identified the victim who lost his life as a 39-year-old man.
The crash closed down the exit ramp for several hours. Police continue their investigation into the accident.
