Richmond Hill, GA (March 20, 2020) – The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate a fatal accident that took the life of one victim on US-17 in Richmond Hill.
The collision took place around 7 p.m. last night around the area of Kings Ferry Boat Landing.
According to authorities, the collision took place when a Ford pickup truck was traveling south on the highway when a Chevy pickup truck crossed the median and struck the Ford. One person was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, though they have not been identified as of yet.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
