Decatur, GA (March 22, 2020) – Around 2 a.m. this morning, a car accident with injuries took place in the westbound lanes of I-285 in Decatur.
According to police, the collision took place near Flat Shoals Road and involved two or more vehicles. They collided for reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics and various other responders were present at the scene of the collision. Injuries were reported but, at this time, we do not know the extent of the injuries.
The accident blocked two right lanes of traffic for some time. Police diligently worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been provided but the investigation into the collision is ongoing.
