Winston, GA – Car Crash on West Expy Near Post Rd Leads to Injuries

Winston, GA (March 22, 2020) – At 7:30 p.m. last evening, March 21, a car crash with injuries took place on a major highway in Winston.

Douglas County officials confirmed that the accident took place when multiple vehicles collided on the West Expressway around the area of Post Road.

The accident allegedly occurred in the eastbound lanes of traffic, completely blocking the left lane of traffic for a period of time. There were no delays in the area, as police quickly cleared the scene.

Paramedics were present at the scene to offer help to one or more victims. The extent of the injuries are not yet known.

Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
