Decatur, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on US-278 Near Richard Rd

Decatur, GA (March 9, 2020) – At 7 p.m. this evening, DeKalb County authorities responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on US-278.

Police confirmed that the collision took place when two or more vehicles forcefully collided for unknown reasons in the eastbound lanes of the highway near the area of Richard Road.

Police urged those in the area to use caution, as there were multiple lanes of traffic closed and delays in the area.

Though the extent of the damages has not yet been released, paramedics were present at the scene and assisting those with injuries. Their conditions are not known.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
