Lyons, GA – Student Killed in Fatal Collision in Toombs County

Lyons, GA (March 4, 2020) – On Tuesday, March 3, a student was killed in a fatal collision that took place in Lyons while another was injured.

Very few details were released regarding the collision, including the roadway where the collision occurred. The accident allegedly took place between at least two vehicles.

Police confirmed that one of the students, who attended Toombs County High School, was killed at the scene of the accident. The student who received injuries was seriously injured and airlifted to a Savannah hospital.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
