Macon, GA (March 13, 2020) – Around 8 p.m. tonight, one person lost their life in a fatal pedestrian accident on GA-49 in front of the local McDonald’s.
Witnesses confirmed that the man who was driving was in a Ford Crown Victoria and allegedly did not see the pedestrian attempting to cross the roadway. The vehicle collided with the victim.
The victim was identified as a 65-year-old man. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
No charges have resulted from the accident as of yet, but the investigation is currently ongoing.
