Sandy Springs, GA – Car Crash on GA-400 Near Hammond Dr

Sandy Springs, GA (March 18, 2020) – At 10:17 a.m. this morning, a serious car crash was reported in Sandy Springs that led to injuries.

The accident involved numerous vehicles and took place in the southbound lanes of GA-400 near the area of Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs.

Photographs taken at the scene of the collision showed that numerous lanes were blocked on the highway for a period of time, except for the right lane of traffic.

Paramedics assisted those in need but the extent of the injuries have not yet been confirmed.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing at this time.
