Stone Mountain, GA (March 21, 2020) – DeKalb County Police confirmed that a fatal pedestrian crash took place on Rockbridge Road yesterday, March 20.
Police confirmed that the collision took place around 6 p.m. when a woman in her mid-50s was attempting to cross the road and was struck by a vehicle.
Police confirmed that paramedics were immediately dispatched but the woman tragically passed away due to severe trauma.
The driver remained at the scene so that they could assist the police.
At this time, the investigation into the collision is ongoing.
