Wrightsville, GA (March 5, 2020) – On Tuesday, March 3, a fatal accident took place involving one vehicle and multiple victims on New Buckeye Road in Wrightsville.
According to police, a 19-year-old female was driving a 2015 Toyota Camry on New Buckeye when she suddenly lost control of her vehicle. A 21-year-old woman and 25-year-old male were passengers in the vehicle.
The car went onto the shoulder of the road and turned around, where it suddenly struck several trees.
All of the victims were allegedly trapped inside the vehicle but extricated by fire crews. They were all transported to Navicent Health by ambulances.
The 21-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the hospital but the other two victims are in serious condition.
The accident investigation remains ongoing.
